Dr. Castillo moved to Tampa, FL, in 2006, from a place well-known for their coffee, cuisine, and captivating culture—Cuba! He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science from the University of South Florida in 2015. In 2019, he earned his College of Dentistry degree from the University of Florida and then completed a one-year training program on advanced dentistry education with a special focus on Implant Dentistry. Dr. Castillo is passionate about continuing education; therefore, he makes sure to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques and materials. Incorporating digital dentistry into his daily practice is a high priority. Dr. Castillo’s specialty skills include preventions, crowns and bridges, dentures, root canal therapies, fillings, extractions, and implants. Dr. Castillo also completed a Fellowship with the Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). His mission here at Boulevard Dental is to provide quality, comprehensive care for all of his patients!
Hobbies
As an outdoorsman, Dr. Castillo enjoys the salty Florida life by fishing, boating, and kayaking; he also enjoys traveling. Most of all, Dr. Castillo enjoys spending time with his sweet wife and two precious daughters!

Hi, Dr. Castillo, what are you doing? Hey, how are you? Good. Good. What case are you working on? We have here a patient missing a few teeth, and then we’re planning on replacing those missing teeth for implants.
So we’re planning about six implants here, four on the top, two on the bottom. And the goal will be to give this patient his dentition back, especially all those posterior teeth that we use for chewing. And this is just me planning everything.
