Seminole, Clearwater, and Greater Pinellas County, Florida are “home” to many top-rated health care facilities. Boulevard Dental is proud to be among those organizations that are supporting the health and wellness of our neighbors. The Seminole office is led by our dental team of Drs. Chris Wujick and Lester Castillo, while Dr. Jason Kopakin leads our Clearwater office. Dr. Skyler Clark is available at both office locations. We are lifting our communities, one smile and dentist appointment at a time. Our team also has a unique level of dedication and commitment to the area. Our roots as a practice run deep, having served the area for more than 30 years. Our dentists also have deep roots here. Most were born and raised in the local area, and they all have contributed to making the community better through causes like the ‘Pinellas County Gives Kids a Smile’ program, the Seminole Rotary Club, refereeing high school soccer games, and much more.
As a patient, we want you to know that our team is not going anywhere. We are invested in Seminole and Clearwater and the people who make it a great place to live. This continuity of care is vital. Too often in dentistry and health care as a whole, services are fragmented. People cannot establish or maintain a consistent, quality “home” for their care. We are in a position to provide that consistent care. You get to know us, we get to know you. We understand your needs and stay on top of any changes in your overall health that could affect your oral health, too. We can accomplish this not only due to our being a well-established dental practice, but we also have an unwavering vision to provide accessible, affordable, quality care to all our neighbors. This shows in things like our Spanish-speaking team members, our flexible payment options (like financing through CareCredit®), and our accommodating schedule. Same-day appointments are available, because accidents do not keep standard operating hours!
Your first visit involves a big welcome from the team. Of course, we will take a close look at your teeth and gums. But your oral health is about so much more than that. We also assess the condition of the supportive tissues, such as your jawbone and jaw joints. No visit would be complete without screening for suspicious lumps, bumps, and sores. Cancerous lesions of the mouth and throat have a high “cure rate” when detected and treated early. Your teeth and gums will be gently yet thoroughly cleaned, so your breath is fresher, your mouth feels cleaner, and your teeth are healthier and look whiter (yes, professional cleanings remove surface stains along with harmful bacteria and stubborn plaque). Be prepared to have a conversation with us about your goals, health, medications and supplements that you may take, and other factors that could affect your oral health. These factors include habits like how you brush and floss your teeth, and the foods and drinks that you typically enjoy.
The answer depends on when X-rays of your mouth were last taken. We may have these records sent to our office or, if it’s been a while, we need to collect that information during your appointment. At Boulevard Dental, we use lots of advanced “tools” to support the best possible experience at our offices in Seminole and Clearwater. When it comes to diagnostic tools, like X-rays, they allow us to see what can’t be detected or understood with the unaided eye or felt by touch. These technologies support our ability to accurately understand your needs and the source of any symptoms or problems. This understanding is essential to effective treatment, as we know what the underlying problem is and how to target it. Modern X-rays and dental imaging techniques also minimize radiation exposure for the safest experience at our offices.
It is a real privilege for us to care for you. We understand there are many things that can keep you from seeing the dentist. Maybe it’s fears deeply rooted in scary experiences at the dentist’s office as a child. Maybe you are worried about how much your dental care is going to cost. Or, life and other commitments simply got in the way and now you can’t ignore alarming or painful changes to your mouth. Whatever the case may be, we want to give you a fresh slate and a fresh start with dentistry. It is our goal to get you comfortable with all modern dentistry has to offer to support your health and well-being. We take non-judgmental, truly compassionate care from a team that is invested in the health of our neighbors and blend that with advancements in dental techniques and technologies to support an experience that inspires confidence, trust, and ultimately great health.
