Our message on latest COVID-19
To our patients,
Due to the recent necessity to maintain utmost precaution during the COVID-19 outbreak, we are suspending regular dental treatment until the outbreak is better under control. We are open for limited hours (11AM – 2PM) to see any and all dental emergencies.
We want to assure you that our practice takes the utmost care regarding the cleanliness and sterilization of our offices, and that we are implementing updated precautions to avoid the spread of COVID-19 to our patients and the community. In addition to our regular sanitation routine for our exam rooms and equipment, we are now also wiping down the office lobby every hour to reduce the odds of transmission of the virus from commonly touched surfaces such as door knobs, waiting room chairs, etc. Our office's sterilization protocol, and the products that we use for it, is informed by the guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for disinfection.
The comfort of you and your loved ones, and the health of all our patients and staff, remains our highest priority. Our patients can help to ensure the safety of our entire community by opening door knobs with tissues, covering their mouths when there is a need to cough or sneeze, by brining your own pen if you need to sign forms, and of course by regular vigorous handwashing. Please feel free to contact the office to reschedule an appointment if you, or your child, develop any symptoms of illness such as a fever or persistent cough moving forward. If any of our patients are diagnosis with COVID-19, we would appreciate you contacting us as soon as possible so that we can take necessary action to reduce the risk of transmission to any of our elderly or immunocompromised patients.
We take comfort in knowing that our community is taking this threat seriously and that we can all work together to ensure that none of our patients become infected by COVID-19 at one of our offices. I thank you all in advance for your cooperation as it takes a village to ensure the health of our entire community here at Boulevard Dental.
We look forward to seeing you again soon.
